"Isatay" project

Right of subsurface use of Isatay area  is vested in:

KazMunayGas National Company JSC – 50%; Eni Isatay B.V. – 50%;

Isatay area is located in the north-eastern part of the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea, 45 km north of the coast of the Bozashy Peninsula. The geological allotment area is 1343 sq. km.

The depth of water in Isatay area  is ranging  between 2 and 7 meters.

In June 2019 Abay block, located in the same area of Isatay one, has been awarded to IOC in order to carry on exploration activity The geological allotment area is 1233.87 sq. km. The distance from the area  to the shore is 65 km, to the Atyrau port - 150 km, to the Bautino port - 160 km.

The depth of water of the Abay area  is ranging  between 6 and 9 meters.
